CBD vs Kratom

And Why is CBD an Amazing Alternative to It

First it is necessary to explain what Kratom is. What it does, positive and negative side effects of the extract, and most of all the legalities. Found in Southeast Asia, Kratom is a tropical evergreen tree that is from the coffee family. The United States has conducted little research on kratom, and it’s medical benefits.

With that said, One may find Kratom being used in the areas it grows wild for “Traditional Medicine”. Over the years there has been two main things a person would use kratom for. Pain management and opioid withdrawal. The traditional way to use Kratom is to chew on fresh leaves. In the United States it is common to take the leaves dry them, crush them into a powder and make tea and other drinks. There are Many places that mix it into different flavored teas, smoothies and juices.

People often times take the powder and put it into capsules and take it in pill form. It wasn’t until the last few years that Kratom has gotten its fame in the recreational drug world. It is common that recreational users of Kratom seem to be seeking a sedative effect. Similar effects to that of taking opiates such as Hydrocodone. Like Vicodin and Lortab, Hydromorphone (like Dilaudid, Exalgo), Demerol, and Methadone. “Botanical Tea Bars” have been popping up left and right around the US. Which has allowed Kratom to become much more popular.

Destinations like these have become a popular alternative to your “Typical Bars”. In places like this, Kratom would be mixed into different types of drinks. Such as teas, smoothies and coffees. By doing so this will help mask the bitter taste of the Kratom. Plus it gives the bar something else to sell. Generally bars like this will be mellow. They will have music playing, and offer gaming areas for board games, video games and table games.

Kratom Alternative

CBD is a cannabinoid, it is a Chemical compound extracted from the hemp plant. There are over 140 cannabinoids found in Hemp and over 480 phytonutrients.

Kratom Powder

There are three different types of Kratom, Red Vein, Green Vain and White Vein. Of the three types there are many strains each one offering a unique but similar effect on the user. White vein offers more of a stimulant energetic feeling. While Green vein is similar but offers the user less subtle effects. Red Vein being different it offers a calming relaxing effect and better used for pain relief.

Some positive effects of Kratom are, it helps relieve pain. Lowers blood pressure, and helps Improve the Immune System. There are people who have even had Help with Addiction, Reduced Stress and Aid in Sleeping. To every positive there must always be a Negative. There are some downsides to Kratom. Some minor negative side effects are, Nausea and Vomiting, or Sweating, Itching and Nervousness. Some of the more severe side effects are hallucinations, paranoia, aggressive or combative. There has also been problems with respiratory depression, delusions and seizures.

There has been reports saying that the worst side effect of them all is that KRATOM is so ADDICTIVE. Converting an addict from an opiate or any other substance over to Kratom. To me seems to be counter productive. Although it is not an opiate, Kratom is similar in the way that it acts like an opiate such as morphine. Common feelings of taking opiates could include drowsiness, relaxation, wave of euphoria and sedation. When Kratom is in a recreational setting it gives the user a similar feeling that an opiate does. Because there are varying sensitivity levels among people, Kratom can be dangerous. Depending on the amount someone takes and the potency. Individual effects can last anywhere from 2-6 hours. Also one must take into account the quality of the Kratom, and the strength.

With all these side effects there is still one major thing here. Which is the most important, and that is the legality of Kratom. DEA announced On August 25, 2016 their plan to ban Kratom. At the end of September 2016 the DEA plans to place Kratom on the Schedule 1 Controlled Substance List. This would place it next to narcotics such as Heroin. LSD, GHB, Mescaline, Psilocybin, Methaqualone (Quaalude), Bath Salts and MDMA. When this goes into place (because we all know that if it doesn’t happen now, it’s only a matter of time). All retailers of Kratom will no longer be able to sell the product. If a person gets caught with kratom they will get charged with possession of an illegal substance. Once it does pass it will be a FELONY to have, Grow or sell kratom.

For a user to understand why CBD is an amazing alternative to Kratom. A person must first understand CBD, what it does, any known side effects and of course the legality. There is at least 85 cannabinoids found in both Marijuana and Hemp CBD is just one of them. CBD is labeled the “Medical Compound” of the two plants. Because CBD is non psychoactive, it does not get you high. The getting high chemical comes from THC. THC is a compound found in both Marijuana and Hemp, but the levels are much higher in Marijuana. THC is what many users seek for pain relief when in reality it is the CBD that gives them the relief. A huge misconception that is starting to come to light is that Marijuana in fact is not the whole answer. instead it is the CBD.

CBD hits the news with its amazing health benefits for people with seizures. People from all over the country flocked to those States with medical marijuana available. so they could enjoy the benefits from CBD. Although this is an amazing health benefit of CBD, this isn’t even the tip of the iceberg. CBD has shown in many studies worldwide that it can, Relieve Pain, Lower Blood Pressure. Even help Improve the Immune System. help with Addiction, Reduce Stress and Aid Sleep. This list is the exact same list that Kratom has. With that said there is much more to offer! CBD has shown to help people with Anxiety, Depression, Schizophrenia and PTSD.

Kratom Illegal CBD Legal All 50 States

Now for the big question that everyone has been waiting for, is CBD Legal. The answer is YES, providing the CBD comes from Hemp grown outside of the United States and contains no THC. CBD products are legal in ALL 50 US STATES!

Kratom leafs

Kratom is a term that refers to the leaves of a tree called Mitragyna species. This tree grows native in the southeast Asia, Thailand, and Malaysia areas of the world. It is in the same family as the coffee plant. For years people around the world would take these leaves and use them as a substitute for opium.

During the 2014 Brazil Study. Researchers found that over a six month period of people taking CBD daily. They were able to see a huge increase in brain wave activity. For people suffering from degenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Not only was there an increase in the activity in the brain.

They also found that the CBD was beginning to repair damaged nerves! If this isn’t enough, lets just give a few more example. CBD has shown its able to help with Acne, Psoriasis, Bruising, Abscesses. Dry Skin, Calluses, Eczema, Bug Bites, and some Rashes. Still have yet to come across any negative side effects. With decades of research, there is still no evidence to show a user can over dose on CBD. unfortunately this is not the case for Kratom. CBD has also not shown any signs of any type of addiction. which means it is not habit forming, again, this is not the case for Kratom.

Kratom Endocannabinoids receptors in the brain.

With the understanding of Kratom and CBD, it is clear to why CBD is the perfect alternative to Kratom. CBD not only helps the ailment. There has been studies that show CBD is repairing nerve damage in more locations than just the brain. This is huge. Way bigger than a plant that acts as an opiate. Something natural, that can relieve pain as well as help repair. Did you know the human body is wired for CBD? Endocannabinoids are stuff made inside the body that activate cannabinoid receptors. What does this mean for you? Your body not only knows exactly what to do with CBD but it has receptors built into us for it.

Kratom vs CBD Extraction

Extraction generally refers to the process of using temperature and pressure to separate compounds. With this process you are able to isolate a single molecule and remove it from the others. In this case CBD is the molecule extracted from the hemp plant.

Here at CBDHelpMe, we believe CBD should be the purest and highest quality available. This allows us to bring people a great product they can rely on every time. At Theonlycbd.com we not only continue to provide amazing CBD but we infuse it into some amazing products. All Theonlycbd.com products get made with pure CBD, there is ZERO THC in any of the products we sell. We are able to do this by using CBD that has extracted out of hemp.

Extracting just the CBD allows there to be no other cannabinoids present. What this means to a customer is that when the bottle says 300mg, there is 300mg of CBD in that bottle. Many companies do not disclose if their products are full cannabinoids or only CBD. What that means is that if the product is full cannabinoid, and the bottle says 300mg. Then how much of that 300mg is actually CBD? Without testing it, there is no way to no. Hemp plants grow different every time. So they never produces the exact same amount of each cannabinoid each time. So some companies who make CBD products might have a different amount of CBD in their products each time. This may cause an issue for customers, because they need a more stable and reliable product.
